Hi Jim! We just got back yesterday from Maui, and so enjoyed every second of our time there. Just wanted to let you know how much we loved it, and how perfect your place was! Awesome location, and we soaked up lots of beach/pool time, and lots of snorkeling at Napili and at Molokini. It was so fun to see the cruise ships park outside the hotel, too, and we enjoyed our am breakfast routine of sitting in the sun, looking at the mountains, and enjoying some fresh coffee and fresh fruit. Just a lovely trip, and we thank you for all your help, info, and the great place to stay. And we will be recommending you to all of our friends/family, and took photos to show them. And, I think we may even want to return next spring to your same condo!! We loved it, and was the perfect trip. Mahalo, Jim! Great art work, too. You are a wonderful host to so many visitors!

Jim ~~ I wanted to let you know we had a marvelous time at Lahaina Shores in your unit #520. We loved the location: waterfront, close to town, in a residential neighborhood, very walkable. We walked each night into downtown on Front St. enjoying the local color, the lively atmosphere, the big banyan tree with the huge flock of mynas in it, and we would find a new and interesting place to eat dinner (The BBQ pork is to die for in Lahaina, especially at Mai Tai). Thank you for the tip on the guide book Maui Revealed. You were right, it was extremely helpful.
We spent most of our days snorkeling or diving (Honolua Bay, Black Rock, Molokini, Red Rim). We can't get enough of the sealife there. We will be coming back to Maui...and it can't be soon enough!!

Hello Jim ~~ Thank you so much for all your advice on what to see & do in Maui. Lynda and I took in whale watching, that awesome production of Ulalena, and a trip down the road to Hana. We walked to town daily, sometimes just to watch the goings on and other times to shop till we dropped.
We had a superb meal at Pacific O - yum! We sat on the lanai every morning admiring the beautiful view of the mountains while drinking our coffee and tea. The condo was super comfortable and very clean. Thank you displaying your wonderful prints. I especially liked the four flowers over the table. I will be sure to contact you again next time I come to the Hawaiian Islands.

Hello Jim ~~ I have been meaning to write ~ we had a wonderful time! The condo suited our needs perfectly in every way ~ comfort, cleanliness, location, location, location! We have some beautiful pictures taken from our balcony. I am so glad we canceled the first reservation we had made for a condo a few blocks away and chose yours. It was a bit longer walk to town, but the shops and restaurants right there had just about everything you could want at equal or better prices, and the view by the pool was fantastic. I also appreciated your honesty about the condo upstairs being the one that was renovated and suggesting that we might want to wait for that one to be available. We knew what we were getting and as I said, comfort, cleanliness, and location were all met.

Aloha, Jim ~~ Wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in your condo at Lahaina Shores. I thought I'd really miss the ocean front view...and found I really enjoyed watching the cloud formations over the mountains. It was great being able to walk to the beach and pool, as well as to downtown Lahaina. I've always loved Lahaina so it was great being back! In fact, my husband and I are planning a return trip...for a longer period of time!
Please let me know what the rate would be if we rented your condo for the entire month of February, 2011.

Aloha Jim from the mainland ~~ We wanted to tell you what a wonderful job on the remodel (#624). Loved the shower, the new tile and the cabinets. The kitchen is very nice. Could'nt take your fry pan anymore. Every time I try to fry an egg it sticks. So we went Saint Vinnys and picked up a nice teflon pan for 2 bucks. Also the first time my wife used the hairdryer it was shooting out sparks. Looked like someone dropped it and tryed to glue it back together. So being the high roller that I am, it was back to Saint Vinnys and picked up a nice one for $2.50. Call it a house warming gift for the remodel. Had a little excitement tuesday night when the people in 633 thought they would cook some food in the microwave in a metal pan which started a fire in the unit. The staff did a super job getting everybody out of the building and putting the fire out before the fire dept. arrived. Anyway we had another great time in Maui we will keep in touch and have a wonderful holiday season.

Jim ~~ It's taken me a bit to get this email out to you. I have been super slammed with a new ABC show since I came back from Maui. I wanted to thank you so much for the GREAT experience we had staying at your condo (#624) in Maui. After an excruciating trip to Maui, all we wanted to do was lay our heads down on a nice clean bed. Our check-in at Lahaina Shores went extremely smooth. Everyone was very helpful and efficient.
We walked into your condo and I must say that not only was it tastefully decorated, but refreshingly very clean as well. Just what we needed after a long day of travel. We had a great time staying here and thank you so much Jim for being so helpful with everything. We will definitely be coming back the next chance I get to escape to Maui! Hi Jim ~~ What a great job you did on the studio at Lahaina Shores #624. Loved your pictures. We enjoyed looking at the Mt's. on the deck and from the room. The colors on the mountains were always changing. The sun shining and the clouds on the mountains were beautiful. I took a ton of photos. When I get them on the computer I will sent you some.
We saw Warren & Annabelle's Magic show. It was so funny. Hope sometime to be able to get back to Maui and if we do we want to stay at Lahaina Shores room 624. You have a beautiful place there. Hi Jim ~~ I realised the other day I never got round to saying thanks for renting your Lahaina condo out to us again and we had a great time. The view from the balcony really is amazing, much better than the ocean view ones - and lets face it you see the ocean every day on the beach!
It was also really nice to be able to walk into Lahaina at night without having to worry about parking, and the fact I went shopping almost everyday we were there it really helped being in walking distance!
Something we would recommend to other visitors was the Feast at Lele, right next door, and great service and food. Hopefully we'll be back again sometime!

The diving was pretty good considering there was that big swell a couple weeks before we were there. Did an early morning (still dark) dive at Black Rock and it was awesome. Anyway, we really enjoyed the convenience of being so close to town and not far from the harbors. Will recommend to friends!

Jim ~~ We just returned from Maui, and I want to thank you for the use of your two condos. Lahaina Shores is an incredible location, within walking distance of everything, yet quiet and right on the beach. And the pool is great. It is easily the best condo for anyone wanting to stay in West Maui.Since we love South Maui, Maui Vista is the ideal location for us, and we really enjoyed our time there, especially with the new appliances and air conditioners. The one downside is the bed at Maui Vista. Compared to your beautiful bed at Lahaina Shores it is pretty awful. I actually slept on the pull-out couch a few times because my back was hurting so much. So, hopefully a new bed or mattress cover is in the budget some time soon. (Replaced with same brand mattress set as Lahaina Shores on 2/14/05. Happy Valentine's Day!)

Hi Jim ~~ We arrived home Thursday a little jet-lagged, sun burnt, and recuperating from an absolutely wonderful vacation. Thank you so much for the use of your fantastic condo. It was perfect. The location was great, the pool wonderful, and so close to the ocean, which was totally unexpected judging from the pictures. The condo is certainly well-equipped with all the necessary utensils/amenities. The bed was great and so was the central air conditioning. "Your mountain view is spectacular . . ."
This is just a thank you for our recent stay. Your condo is lovely, and you have furnished it with just about every possible amenity that we use, such as VCR, blender, iron, 77-channel cable TV, etc. Your mountain view is spectacular and the quality of the property (super-fast elevators, well maintained and beautiful grounds, great laundry room, activity desk always open, friendly staff, etc) make Lahaina Shores a great choice. An easy 7 minute walk and you are downtown, and you have no parking hassles in order to enjoy Lahaina.
We have been to many places and yours is one of the best. We look forward to staying again next year, perhaps for a longer time.

I'll recommend your place to any friends looking for an economical place to stay, it was just great. Ahhhhhh! Great place Lahaina Shores!
Hi, ~~ I was actually looking for orchid ornaments and got to this page! We have stayed at Lahaina Shores once -- we seem to get to Hawaii once in ten years, or more. Last visit was with my Mom and she always stays at the Lahaina Shores Resort. It is close to Lahaina -- within walking distance (we enjoyed a parade last time we were there -- in about 1995), right next to that interesting little shop area, on the beach, close to luau's, good place to stay so you can head out to other destinations on Maui. We had a WONDERFUL time! Last time with my Mom was great--enjoyed taking photos of the lovely hibiscus there at the place and also took the Lavengra sailing vessel to Molokini Island ~ wow, that was a super trip and we have such great memories and photos! Our daughter was just starting high school then and it was her first trip to Hawaii. We sure had a wonderful time there! ~~ My Mom is 87 now and isn't too sure she could make another trip over (she has had hip surgery on both hips and still has a lot of trouble with pain in the right leg that the doctors say to "just live with". But, we talk about Lahaina Shores all the time! As in: "Boy, wouldn't it be nice to stay at the Lahaina Shores again!" ~~ Just had to write to express my appreciation for the wonderful time we had at the Lahaina Shores Resort! It is a place we will always stay when on Maui. I will run off a print of your ad and give it to my Mom -- she will love having it!

Hi Jim ~~ We just got back from our honeymoon in Maui yesterday. The weather was a bit of a surprise, but all in all, we had a great trip. Just wanted to drop a note letting you know that we loved both your places we stayed. They were exactly what we had in mind (modest accommodations with kitchen facilities). We especially liked the location of and view from the Lahaina Shores complex. Next time we come to Maui, we'll certainly look you up again!!

I had a great time in Hawaii and enjoyed staying in your unit. Just a thought, but I was wondering if you might consider selling your place? I liked its location to down town and would not need much more than this size unit for my own use. Hope all else is well and I will stay in touch for my next trip that way.
