Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is back with a new, edgy animated series due to air next year.
Called Bordertown, the series features two neighbouring American families living in a desert town on the US/Mexico border.
Bud Buckwald is a border patrol agent who is not coping with the changing cultural make-up of America. Next door is Ernest Gonzales, a Mexican migrant who is proudly and busily living the American dream.
The action centres around the interplay between the two men and their families.
Family Guy fans will know not to expect any racial sensitivity from the famously over-the-top MacFarlane, for whom, it appears, no joke can ever be too offensive.
MacFarlane will collaborate with Family Guy executive producer and voice actor Mark Hentemann in the new show, which will premiere in the US on Fox.
