LLANI Hyer-Warton, 19, of Miranda is jumping in the deep end to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
At the end of February, she plans to swim laps for 12 continuous hours at Caringbah Leisure Centre.
The swimming instructor and nursing student will be swimming about 800 laps in honour of her aunt who died of breast cancer in 2012.
Ms Hyer-Warton will also be joined by team mates from Cronulla Swim Club and Elouera Surf Life Saving Club. The public are also encouraged to enter a team.
Sutherland Shire Council has donated use of the pool.
